Life sends us many challenges, and a variety of solutions to choose from.  How we respond may be enhanced or impaired by our lifestyle and past decisions. Do we choose to live lives of authentic love or just what gets us by? Do we watch what we eat? – what we eat affects our body and brain chemistry and thus our state of mind. Do we set the stage for healthy habits and thus better decisions and perhaps more authentic loving responses? Or, do we reinforce bad decisions and responses? When you walk into the kitchen is there junk food and highly processed foods in plain site imprinting with every visit? Is the fresh fruit in the crisper out of site out of mind? Do you know your Metabolic Type? How closely do you follow your Metabolic Typing Diet?

What do you mentally feed on violent, startling, suspenseful, hate and fear mongering, divisive programs or those that impart a gentle more loving way of life? Perhaps a place you would prefer to live. To a great degree we fashion the world we live in by our decisions on what we consume – physically and mentally.

To improve our world we have to start with our own decisions. Each one as it comes to us. A candy bar or an apple. To return harsh words or to return kindness, understanding and forgiveness. To just walk by someone or to offer a kind “Good morning! You look radiant today!” We have to be forgiving and patient with others and yes even with ourselves as we all are works in progress.
